Is it worth using free email lists for Internet Marketing? The answer is a resounding YES! Are there any strategies that are better than others? Absolutely! There is an extremely important component regarding how you use the lists, which will seriously impact the results you get. Which lists are the best ones to use? When you come across new lists, how do you determine if they are worthwhile? These questions could go on…… and on….. and so on….. This article attempts to explain a differentiating and beneficial approach to improve your results.
There are many “Free” lists out in the world of Internet Marketing. When it comes to Internet Marketing, there are three lists that rise above the rest. ListJoe, Viral Url and Viral Hosts. There are succinct differences between them so be sure to spend some time familiarizing yourself with each list and how it works.
You can sign up as a basic member for free or pay to be upgraded. There are advantages and disadvantages, so be sure to check these out. Your first instinct might be to sign up, get your free emails going out to the 3,000 or whatever number of list members and as you begin to receive the rather numerous emails from other list members, to delete these emails. Stop and think about this for a minute. It always pays to do research, right? Okay, so do not delete these. At least once in a while go through these and check out the subject lines, even click on a few to see what value they offer in the content. Read, observe and learn!
One of the most significant tidbits of advice I received was in the ListJoe training video. Be sure to open a completely separate email address for your free lists. You can even do a separate Gmail email for each list if you want. The advantage of this is that you will not be distracted by the seemingly endless emails on your regular email accounts. Ah, good idea, right? You bet.
Now, how can you differentiate yourself from the masses? Are you familiar with Attraction Marketing? This is key to your success (actually for Internet Marketing period, not just with the free lists!). If you can help solve other people’s problems by providing them with solutions, for free. That’s right, for FREE!
Attraction Marketing begins with the subject lines for your email ads. Reflect on how you can raise people’s curiosity enough to actually have them open your emails. Do NOT try to sell them something with your subject line or with your content for that matter. All you want to do is to get people to open and click in order to get information so they can make a good, educated decision.
Build their curiosity. Help them. When you learn something that’s extremely helpful for you, share it. When you find something you like, or try a new product that blows your mind, share it. Reach out, help people. From your heart, help them. Build some trust. By helping people get information in order to make the best decision for themselves, you will end up “selling” them, first on you and second on your value-providing products and/or services.
